Mean Green Dominates South Alabama

MOBILE, ALABAMA – Chandler Morris shone in his first start for the Mean Green, throwing for 415 yards and three touchdowns in a 52-38 win over South Alabama. Eric Morris, the head coach, praised Morris’s poise and playmaking ability.

Senior wide receiver Damon Ward Jr. had a standout performance with 230 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The team’s next game is at home against SFA. Morris praised the team’s resilience and unity in securing the hard-fought win.

Guerrero graduated from California State University Sacramento with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. Throughout her college and post college career Myckena cemented herself as a sports journalist illustrating the true stories behind the athletes during her time working with MaxPreps, the 49ers, Cal-Hi Sports on NBC Bay Area, Sacramento StatenAthletics, KUSI News in San Diego, SBLive Sports and more. Myckena Guerrero paints the backdrop of how these athletes came to be the stars they are today.
