Defense Dominated In Second Day of Padded Practice

OXNARD, CA – Day two of padded practice got underway here in Oxnard California for the Dallas Cowboys. We saw a lot of good things on the field from both the offense and the defense.

The defense did some damage today in 11-on-11, multiple interceptions were caught by multiple Cowboys players including Marquese Bell, Willey Harvy, and Israel Mukuamu. Unfortunately, Trevon Diggs did not participate in the action on Wednesday but we did get to speak to him following practice.

ESPN produced a top 10 DB list and Diggs and DaRon Bland were not on it. When asked how he felt about not being on it he said, “I feel like I’m in a league on my own. There’s nobody that can do what I do.”

Day six of practice will resume on Thursday. With the loss of DE Sam Williams the Cowboys are working out some pass rushers Thursday, including veteran Carl Lawson, who played in Cincinnati for Mike Zimmer, according to sources.
