FC Dallas Suffers 2-1 Defeat In Extra Time Against Sporting Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, KANSAS – FC Dallas’ Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup run ended with a 2-1 defeat to Sporting Kansas City after extra time. Petar Musa scored the equalizer in the 86th minute, sending the match to extra time. Interim head coach Peter Luccin expressed disappointment but praised the players’ attitude and is looking ahead to the next challenge.

Up next, FC Dallas will play LA Galaxy on July 13 at home.
