Renegades Still Have Hope, Playoffs Still Possible?

ARLINGTON, TEXAS — The Arlington Renegades are getting ready to gear up and take on the Memphis Showboats this upcoming Saturday, May 11th. The Renegades have had the most rockiest start to any UFL team yet as Arlington stands at 0-6 so far this season. But believe it or not, all hope is not lost! If you can recall from last year, the Renegades clinched a spot in the playoffs after finishing out the regular season 4-6. That being said, whether it happens or not, Arlington still has a chance at snatching a spot in the playoffs if they win out the rest of the season.

Arlington held a press conference Wednesday afternoon where head coach Bob Stoops discussed with the team to not lose hope. Stoops-“we still have a chance, I believe in this team and the fundamentals we’ve built, we just have to execute them” This is the final chance for Arlington to possibly redeem themselves and maybe turn over a new leaf for the rest of the season.

The Memphis Showboats are currently standing at 1-5 so far this season. This game will be neck and neck and a fight for an Arlington first game victory. Tip off is set for 12pm C/T with a Renegades home field advantage at Choctaw Stadium.
