Morea Turner, Renegades, Mavericks, SMU & Wings Reporter

Morea Turner graduated from The University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. While at UA, she served as a Broadcaster coordinating the media coverage for Bama TV, SEC Nation and ESPN.

Additionally, she was a sideline reporter at football and basketball games during her 4 years at The University of Alabama.

Morea grew up in Orange County, California where most of her family currently resides, including her mother who is also her best friend.

She discovered her strong love of sports and broadcasting at an early age as well as, developed a deep passion for dance with a goal to become an NBA Dancer. 

Morea spent the last two years performing as a professional NBA Dancer for the Memphis Grizzlies in 2018 and the Detroit Pistons in 2019, thus achieving her goal. 

Recently, she served as an apprentice and production assistant at Fox Sports Detroit working under sports reporter Mickey York, launching her pursuit towards her dream job of becoming a sports reporter 

Morea is exceptional in journalism, producing, editing, and public speaking.
