SMU Defeats Temple, 77-64

DALLAS, TEXAS — SMU dominated Temple in an exciting game at Moody Coliseum! With a final score of 77-64, Mustangs guard Chuck Harris stated in the post game postfrence, “we had a lot of energy going into the game, we were dialed in. We did get a little lazy going into the second half but that’s what made it a great game, it was a close one but we executed and came out with a win.”

Harris led the Mustangs with 18 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists. Harris was also 5 of 10 shooting, including 4 for 7 from 3-point range, and went 4 for 4 from the line for the Mustangs.

SMU started the game on a 15-0 run before Temple came back close within 30-28 at halftime. A 7-0 run in the second half turned a one-point deficit into a six point lead for SMU.

SMU will be back at home this Saturday. Tip off is at 2pm C/T.
