Cowboys Blowout Commanders 45-10

ARLINGTON, TEXAS — The Dallas Cowboys defeated the Washington Commanders 45-10 on Thanksgiving Day. Dallas has won seven games by 20-plus points in 2023, tied with the 1968 Cowboys team for the most such games in
franchise history.

Dak Prescott threw for 331 yards and four touchdowns, his 10th career game with four-plus passing touchdowns, which tied Tony
Romo for the most four-touchdown games in franchise history. Prescott on tying Tony Romo’s record, “I can’t say I’ve been one to really care for numbers, but watching this team growing up a Cowboys fan, it’s humbling in a sense, especially coming spending my rookie year with Tony, growing up watching Tony. Understanding all the success that he had. It’s pretty cool, but I want something much bigger than personal records and just going to keep my head down and keep working. Yeah, go for the main thing.”

Cowboys Cornerback DaRon Bland intercepted a pass in the fourth quarter and returned it 63 yards for a touchdown to see the deal for Dallas’ win. Bland has five pick-sixes in 2023, an NFL record. His five pick-sixes are also the most in a career by any Cowboys player.
