TCU Ready To Keep The Iron Skillet Lit

FORT WORTH, Texas — TCU is gearing up for arguably one of the most highly anticipated matchups of the week. They are taking on cross town rival SMU for the battle for the iron skillet.

The name of the game in this matchup is defense for TCU. Offensively they have proved themselves over these past two games but the defense has had a huge question mark. SMU quarterback Preston Stone has thrown for over 700 yards this season which is going to take a huge toll on the secondary if they don’t get pressure on him early in the game. The offensive line for SMU is what has struggled this year for the which will allow TCU to have some success with the pass rush.

TCU won last years matchup 42-34 but as we all know this is a very different TCU squad then last year. This will be a matchup that you do not want to miss. Kick off is set for 11:00am at Amon G. Carter stadium.
