The Dallas Wings Return to College Park Center After Falling Short to The Minnesota Lynx On The Road

ARLINGTON, TX- Dallas returns home after a 91-86 loss to the Minnesota Lynx on Tuesday night. Minnesota’s Napheesa Collier and Kayla McBride combined for 50 to secure the win.

The Lynx were determined to a victory after a 40-point blowout game back in July against the Wings, 107-67 and their most recent loss to the Seattle Storm 88-74.

Tuesday nights game was very physical and with 2:31 on the clock in the 4th quarter Satou Sabally received a technical foul which gave McBride the chance at one from the line. Kayla sank the free throw to give the Lynx a 81-69 lead.

Not only was it a physical match but the Wings received unnecessary commentary by the Lynx fanbase, so the Wings come into tonight’s home game with a chip on their shoulder.

Although a loss for the Wings, they were able to hit milestones. Dallas star, Arike Ogunbowale, hit 3,000 career points and Crystal Dangerfield put up 12 points, marking 1,000 points in her career.

The two teams will go head-to-head in Arlington, tipoff is at 7 P.M.
