Dallas Wings (6-6) Get The “W” Over Atlanta Dream (5-6), 85-73

ARLINGTON, TX– The Atlanta Dream’s hot streak ended today with a 85-73 win for the Dallas Wings.

Natasha Howard paved the way for the Wings with 23 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assist.

The Atlanta Dream did not hesitate to put early pressure on the Dallas Wings but it didn’t take long for Dallas to find their offensive rhythm.

The Wings were effective at knocking down threes shooting 44.4% to Atlanta’s 11.1%. Arike Ogunbowale and Natasha Howard combined for 26 points leading the team into the half 43-32.

In the second half Dallas took advantage of Atlanta’s shaky ball movement and made sure to get out into quick transition. Where they also found success: on the defensive side of the ball.

When asked about how well the Dallas defense looked tonight Head Coach Latricia Trammell responded with: Well how much time do you have?

“I’m most proud of how they locked down some of Atlanta’s key players, defending the three, rebounding, 46 to 33,” said Coach Trammell. “Great defense from the team tonight.”

UP NEXT: The Dallas Wings will hit the road to take on the Los Angeles Sparks on Friday. Tip-off is at 9PM.
