Arlington Renegades Conclude 2023 XFL Draft

ARLINGTON, TX – Friday morning was the start of the 2023 XFL Rookie Draft. The Orlando Guardians had the first pick, followed by the Vegas Vipers, San Antonio Brahmas, St. Louis Battlehawks, Seattle Sea Dragons, Houston Roughnecks, D.C. Defenders and Arlington Renegades. The order repeated in each round.

Through this draft keep in mind that all players under contract in the XFL are allowed to leave the league to sign with an NFL team through December 26.

Prior to the draft the Arlington Renegades and Seattle Sea Dragons did announce a trade with Arlington receiving Tuzar Skipper, LB, out of Toledo and a Seattle draft pick and Seattle receiving George Moore, OL, out of Oregon and an Arlington draft pick.

Now, for undrafted players, the XFL will host a series of player showcases across the United States in June and July. These showcases will give prospective football players a chance to show off their skills in front of XFL coaches and personnel directors. Players will be evaluated based on performance for inclusion in the XFL player pool for the upcoming 2024 season. The top performers will be invited to the XFL Combine, which will be held July 25-27 in Arlington, Texas which will be an invite only.
