It’s Always Hard To Beat Someone Twice: Will TCU Defeat West Virginia?

FORT WORTH, TX- The TCU Horned Frogs fell to Mississippi State in overtime 81-74. Tonight No.15 TCU will take on the unranked West Virginia Mountaineers.

The frogs will be short a couple of players starting with star guard Mike Miles after he suffered a right knee hyperextension injury during Saturday’s loss. They will also continue to be without Eddie Lampkin who is currently in a boot.

Although they will be without some key players, TCU has proven they can win without players when it is needed.

West Virginia is coming off a huge win against Auburn 80-77 and will most likely have a chip on their shoulder coming into tonight’s game.

After TCU’s campus shut down due to inclement weather, that is not stopping the TCU community from coming out and showing love for their horned frogs.

TCU’s Athletics Director Jeremiah Donati tweeted before the game encouraging all fans to come out to the Schollmaier Arena.

“Big @TCUBasketball game in the Schollmaier Arena tonight,” said Donati. “To our amazing TCU Students: NO SCHOOL TOMORROW. So…Let’s pack the house tonight-we have free food, drinks, stickers and t-shirts for you all. No one will be denied entry.”

TCU will take the court at 8 p.m.
