Wings Fall To Sun

MONTVILLE, CT- The Dallas Wings came up short to the Connecticut Sun in their first playoff game, 93-68.

Allisha Gray controlled the scoreboard putting up 17 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists. Followed by Marina Mabrey with 11 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, and Ty Harris with 13 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 points.

Head Coach Vickie Johnson said that the teams downfall in tonights game was not moving the basketball.

“We have to make sure we understand what has gotten us where we are today and that’s playing inside and out. There’s no way we can win with Teaira only taking 6 shots. We have to pound the ball inside and then play inside-out”.

The Dallas Wings will face the Conneticut Sun once again Sunday afternoon. Tip-off is at 11 AM.
