Dallas Wings vs Phoenix Mercury Preview

ARLINGTON, TX- The Dallas Wings will host the Phoenix Mercury Saturday at the College Park Center. Back on June 17th, these two teams met and it was the Wings that came out on top with a 93-88 victory.

The 9-9 Dallas Wings will come into tonights game after an impressive victory in Thursday nights showdown, where The Wings defenses only gave up 68 points in the 94 blowout.

As a whole, this Dallas offense has been showing stellar strength on the court. Averaging 82.5 points, while the defense allows 80 points per game. Arike Ogunbowale is the teams top performer, averaging 19.2 points while
shooting 40.1 percent from the field and 38.3 percent from the three-point line. Kayla Thornton holds the defense down with 7.4 rebounds per game so far this season.

The 6-12 Phoenix Mercury will come into tonights game after a blowout loss against the Minnesota Lynx, where their defense allowed 100 points against them.

The Mercury averages 81.8 points, while their defense allows 86.9 points pergame.

Tonight’s game will begin at 7 P.M CT and will be broadcasted on Bally Sports Southwest.
