FC Dallas Gets The “W” Over New England 2-1

FRISCO, Texas — FC Dallas took on the number one team in the East, New England, that led to a final score of 2-1. Dallas came out fast and on fire as they secured their win and are now 11th in the West.

Going into the first half forward Ricardo Pepi, made his first goal in the 11th minute with an assist by Jesus Ferreira. New England was able to hop on the scoreboard tying the game 1-1 in the 33rd minute, but Ricardo Pepi was able to come in clutch again as he made his final goal of the night in the 54th minute.

FC Dallas head coach Luchi Gonzalez stated, “ we knew they were going to be a good team, so we set the tone to match their energy. We never lost momentum and overall it was a great game.”

FC Dallas will be back at home this Sunday July 4th, to face Vancouver.
