Yankees Even Up Series With Rangers

Stephan Dawson/D210SPORTS

ARLINGTON, Texas – Rangers in Yankees break even within the first two games of a four-game series, last night the Rangers lost to the Yankees 7-4.

Once again the Rangers struggled on the mound, starting pitcher Mike Foltynewicz struggled to make it out of the fourth inning giving up five points after the Rangers held a three-point lead. Manager Chris Woodward stated, “when he tries to do more when he needs to calm down it doesn’t always work out.” Foltynewicz allowed five hits and a walk in the fourth.

Solak, Heim, and Lowe were the only Rangers to cross base.

If the Rangers are looking for a playoff push they must step it up and get to .500 first.

Rangers and Yankees continue their 4 game series tonight at Globe Life Park in Arlington, Texas.
