Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Abbi Bennett is currently a student at The University of Oklahoma (OU) pursuing a degree in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Sports Management.
At OU, Abbi is involved in a variety of broadcast activities through Gaylord College of Mass Communication including OU Nightly, Sooner Sports Pad and GamedayU.
Through these activities, Abbi has gained on-air experience as a sports anchor/host and worked behind the scenes to help put out the student-run newscasts.
Abbi is also the Vice President of the Association of Women in Sports Media chapter at her University.
