FRISCO, Texas — On Wednesday, the Dallas Cowboys placed defensive lineman Tyrone Crawford on the Reserve/COVID-19 list joining Andy Dalton.

The NFL does not specify and it is unknown whether Crawford tested positive for the virus or if he came in contact with someone who has it and was exposed. The Cowboys hosted the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday and several members of the organization including Ben Roethlisberger were placed on the COVID list this week. It has not been revealed if there is a correlation between the two, but after hosting the Steelers just days prior, one can come to obvious conclusions.

Crawford has started in all nine games this season for Dallas in the defensive line rotation and has accumulated five tackles.

The Cowboys made another roster move during the bye week, the club has claimed defensive lineman Ron’Dell Carter off waivers from the Indianapolis Colts. Carter had previously been in the building, signed as a rookie free agent by the Cowboys, but did not make the final roster cuts. He began the season on the practice squad but then signed to the Colts’ active roster. Things clearly did not pan out for him in Indy and he is back with the Cowboys for another opportunity.
