ARLINGTON, TXAS — The 2-2 Dallas Renegades hosted the 2-2 New York Guardians in a game that could possibly sort out the playoff picture.

Renegades QB Philip Nelson got another chance under center as starter Landry Jones injured his knee last week against Houston. Nelson on the day was 28 of 49 for 210 passing yards with 2 interceptions, he and the Renegades offense couldn’t substain enough consistency to keep up the pace with Guardians and fall 27-12.

Renegades coach Bob Stoops said, it was disappointing loss and it just wasn’t good enough.

The Renegades hit the road next week to take on the DC Defenders as they have lost 3 in row and are in search of a win if they have any hopes of making the playoffs.
