This was only the second overtime game in Dr Pepper Big 12 Football Championship history. The first was in 1998whenTexas A&MandKansas State went to four overtimes, with A&M winning 36-33.
Oklahoma Quarterback Jalen Hurts completed 17 of 21 passes for 287 yards and a touchdown and rushed 23 times for 38 yards, totaling 325 yards.
CeeDee Lamb was named Most Outstanding Player of the 2019 Big 12 Championship. Lamb finished with eight catches for 173 yards. It was his sixth 100-yard receiving game of the season.
