SMU Beats North Texas 49-27

DALLAS, Texas — SMU had 503 yards total offense on 70 plays as the Mustangs beat North 49-27. This is the 4th time in the past 6 games with 500 plus total yards, including both games this season.

Mustangs Quarterback Shane Buechele was 21-31 for 292 yards with 3 passing Touchdowns, his third career game with 3 to more passing TDs.

Running Back Xavier Jones had a game high 127 yard rushing with 3 Touchdowns in the win.

Receiver James Proche had 7 receptions for 115 yard with a TD and a 2-point conversion.

The Mustangs start the season off 2-0 and play Texas State next Saturday at home.
