1 on 1 with Former SMU Great Nic Moore

DALLAS, TEXAS – Former SMU Point Guard Nic Moore returned to Moody Coliseum on Valentines night as the Mustangs lost a close one to the Memphis Tigers 70-67. Moore talked about his time as student athlete at SMU.

As a sophomore at SMU, Moore posted averages of 13.6 points, 4.9 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 32.2 minutes per game. Moore scored in double figures in 30 of the Mustangs’ 37 games.

The following year as a Junior Moore led SMU in scoring with 14.2 points per game and 5.2 assists per game while shooting 42.2 percent from the floor and 40.8 percent on 3-pointers. He was named one of 10 finalists for the Bob Cousy Point Guard of the Year Award in 2016.

Moore currently plays professional basketball for New Basket Brindisi of the Italian Lega Basket Serie A.
