Cowboys Hire New Wide Receivers Coach Sanjay Lal

FRISCO, Texas – The Dallas Cowboys Hire Former Colts Wide Receivers Coach Sanjay Lal, to fill the vacant position left by Derek Dooley on the staff.

Before being with the Colts, He has also been the Wide Receivers Coach for the Oakland Raiders (2009-2011), New York Jets (2012-2014), and Buffalo Bills (2015-2016).

During the 2017 season the Cowboys struggled with the passing game on offense. Dak Prescott had trouble finding chemistry and consistency with the receivers and the passing game suffered. Dez Bryant, Cole Beasley, and Terrance Williams all had career lows in receiving yards. The cowboys need playmakers performing on the field in receiver positions. Lal will have his work cut out for him as he joins the staff. The Cowboys need increased productivity with their wide receivers and the Cowboys believe he is the guy for the job to make the needed changes.
