FORT WORTH, Texas — No. 11 TCU left no doubt about its place atop the Big 12.
Behind 21 points from Marta Suarez and 19 more from Olivia Miles, the Horned Frogs powered past No. 18 Baylor 65-53 to clinch their second consecutive outright Big 12 regular-season championship.
TCU (27-4, 15-3 Big 12) becomes the first team in conference history to win back-to-back regular-season titles within three seasons of finishing in last place. It also marks the first time in program history the Horned Frogs have captured consecutive conference crowns.
Suarez set the tone early with confident scoring in the paint and on the perimeter, while Miles controlled the tempo and delivered timely buckets that kept Baylor at arm’s length. TCU’s defense did the rest, limiting the Bears to 53 points and closing the door in the fourth quarter.
From the cellar to the summit, TCU’s rise is no longer a surprise — it’s the standard in Fort Worth.
