FRISCO, Texas — FC Dallas fell 2-1 to the Houston Dynamo in Torneo de Tejas action Tuesday night, conceding a late goal as the club continues its preseason buildup.
Houston opened the scoring late in the first half, but Patrickson Delgado pulled Dallas level in the 64th minute after a strong setup from rookie Ricky Louis. The Dynamo regained the lead in the 80th minute with a back-post header past goalkeeper Michael Collodi.
Despite the loss, FC Dallas holds a 4-1-0 preseason record with 16 goals scored and five allowed. The Hoops close out preseason play Saturday at Toyota Stadium against Atlanta United before opening the MLS regular season next week versus Toronto FC
