DALLAS — The Dallas Mavericks reshaped their roster in a multi-team trade, acquiring forward Khris Middleton, guard Tyus Jones, rookie guard AJ Johnson and forward/center Marvin Bagley III.
Dallas sent forward/center Anthony Davis and guards Jaden Hardy, D’Angelo Russell and Danté Exum to Washington as part of the deal. The Wizards also traded guard Malaki Branham to Charlotte to finalize the transaction.
Middleton brings championship experience and scoring consistency, giving Dallas another proven offensive option and veteran presence. Jones adds stability at point guard, known for efficient playmaking and ball control.
Johnson provides young backcourt potential, while Bagley adds athleticism and frontcourt depth.
The move signals Dallas’ focus on balancing veteran production with developmental talent as the team continues its push in the Western Conference.
