FORT WORTH, Texas — Olivia Miles delivered when it mattered most, finishing with 20 points and six assists to lift No. 12 TCU to a 79–77 win over Kansas on Wednesday night at Schollmaier Arena.
The Horned Frogs controlled the tempo early, but Kansas pushed back with steady shot-making and physical defense, setting up a tense finish. With the game tightening late, Miles took charge, creating offense for herself and her teammates while TCU stayed composed at the free-throw line.
Kansas had a final opportunity in the closing seconds, but TCU’s defense forced a difficult attempt, preserving the narrow victory in front of a lively home crowd.
The win strengthens TCU’s position in Big 12 play as the Horned Frogs continue to build momentum, while Kansas leaves Fort Worth after a hard-fought effort that went down to the final possession.
