DALLAS — Jason Robertson delivered the difference in the final minute, scoring with one minute left in regulation to lift the Stars and punctuate a milestone performance.
The goal was Robertson’s 30th of the season, completing a 30-goal, 30-assist, 60-point campaign for the fourth time in his career and second straight year. His assist earlier in the game extended his streak to six consecutive 30-assist seasons and marked his fifth straight season with at least 60 points.
Wyatt Johnston added his league-leading 17th power-play goal, tying Jamie Benn for the second-most in a single season in Stars history. Johnston finished with a goal and an assist, while Miro Heiskanen recorded his 40th point of the season.
Roope Hintz tallied two assists and won 13 faceoffs, and Kyle Capobianco appeared in his 100th NHL game.
“Every point right now is huge,” captain Jamie Benn said. “We’re just finding ways to win.”
Robertson said the late finish was especially meaningful. “We haven’t been closing out close games lately,” he said. “So that feels good.”
