ALGARVE, Portugal — FC Dallas opened its preseason slate with a sharp second-half performance, rolling to a 4-0 victory over Portimonense S.C. on Tuesday at the Pine Cliffs Resort Football Center.

After a scoreless opening half in the 60-minute friendly, FC Dallas found its rhythm following the break and never looked back. Forward Anderson Julio jump-started the scoring in the 38th minute, setting the tone for a flurry of goals as the match wore on.

Ricky Louis doubled the lead just before the end of the second half, finishing in the 45th minute to give Dallas full control. The midfield took over from there, with Kaick adding a goal in the 52nd minute before Christian Cappis capped the night six minutes later.

The clean sheet and balanced scoring effort highlighted a promising start to preseason play as FC Dallas used the match to evaluate depth and build chemistry against international competition.
