DALLAS — The Dallas Mavericks are finding their rhythm — and Utah keeps feeling the brunt of it.

Two nights after a lopsided win over the Jazz, Dallas followed it up with another commanding performance, rolling to a 138–120 victory to even the season series at 2–2. The back-to-back wins marked the first time this season the Mavericks have posted consecutive victories by at least 15 points, underscoring a surge driven by ball movement, depth and perimeter shooting.

Dallas piled up 36 assists, one night after dishing out 37, marking just the second time in franchise history — and the first since 1981 — the Mavericks have recorded 36 or more assists in consecutive games. The offense flowed from start to finish, producing another 135-plus point outing and giving Dallas back-to-back games at that mark for only the third time in team history.

The Mavericks knocked down 18 3-pointers for the second straight game, continuing a torrid stretch from beyond the arc. It was the team’s second-highest total this season, trailing only the 19 threes they hit against — again — Utah earlier in the week.

Klay Thompson anchored the effort off the bench, pouring in a team-high 23 points in just one half of action. The veteran sharpshooter connected on six 3-pointers and crossed the 17,000-point mark for his career, becoming the 109th player in NBA history to reach the milestone. Thompson has now recorded 10 games this season with at least five 3-pointers as a reserve — the most in the league — and posted his fifth set of consecutive 20-point games since joining Dallas.

The Mavericks’ depth continued to shine. Max Christie delivered 22 points with efficient shooting, while Brandon Williams matched him with 22 of his own, adding five assists in one of his most complete performances in a Dallas uniform. Naji Marshall filled the stat sheet with 16 points, six assists and five rebounds, and Moussa Cisse controlled the glass with 10 rebounds to go along with nine points.

Utah was led by Brice Sensabaugh, who scored 25 points and grabbed six rebounds, continuing a career-best scoring stretch. Kyle Filipowski added a double-double with 13 points and 12 boards, while Ace Bailey chipped in 18 points and eight rebounds.

Dallas has now won three of its last five meetings with the Jazz and six of the past 10 overall, showing signs of a team hitting its stride at the right time — with the ball moving, the bench producing and the shots falling in bunches.
