DALLAS — The Dallas Mavericks delivered their most dominant win of the season Wednesday, rolling past the Utah Jazz 144-122 behind a balanced attack and a historic night from Klay Thompson.
Thompson led Dallas with a season-high 26 points off the bench, knocking down six 3-pointers and passing Damian Lillard for fourth on the NBA’s all-time made 3s list. His shooting headlined a Mavericks bench that poured in a season-best 65 points.
Dallas set the tone early, scoring at least 35 points in three quarters and shooting over 40 percent from beyond the arc while connecting on 19 3-pointers — its highest total this season. The Mavericks also forced 13 steals, improving to 4-0 when reaching that mark.
Naji Marshall added 22 points for his third straight 20-point game, while Moussa Cisse recorded his first career double-double with 10 points and a career-high 13 rebounds.
Brice Sensabaugh paced Utah with 27 points, but the Jazz had no answer for Dallas’ depth and pace as the Mavericks secured their largest win of the year.
