DALLAS — The Mavericks topped the Miami Heat 118–108, pulling even in the season series and continuing their hot shooting.
Dallas held Miami to 11-of-37 from three, their 10th game this year keeping an opponent under 30 percent from deep. The Mavs hit 16-of-32 from long range, marking their second straight game over 50 percent.
Ryan Nembhard stayed red-hot with 15 points and a career-high 13 assists, becoming the first undrafted rookie in the Modern Draft Era to post back-to-back games of 15 points and 10 assists. Over two games, he’s totaled 43 points, 23 assists and just one turnover.
Cooper Flagg added 22 points, extending his streak of 20-point games to three — something only LeBron James had done at age 18 — giving him eight such games on the season.
Anthony Davis finished with 17 points, 17 rebounds and three blocks, while Klay Thompson added 15 points and five threes off the bench, his fifth game this year with at least five makes from deep.
Tyler Herro led Miami with 20 points, and Kel’el Ware added 22 points and 10 rebounds.
Dallas continues its road push with its rookies driving the surge.
