FORT WORTH, Texas — A lightning delay couldn’t slow TCU as the Horned Frogs rolled to a convincing win over Cincinnati behind a dominant first half and several standout performances.

TCU opened fast, scoring on its first drive and stacking 21 first-quarter points — its most in an opening frame since 2022. By halftime, the Frogs had 31 points and extended their NCAA-long scoring streak to 419 straight games. Their 544 total yards marked a new season high.

The victory secured TCU’s eighth win, giving the program back-to-back seasons of at least eight victories for the first time since 2014–15. Under Sonny Dykes, TCU is now 19–5 at home and 29–5 when breaking 30 points.

Josh Hoover delivered a nearly flawless day, throwing for 306 yards and four touchdowns on 19-of-22 passing.
Eric McAlister added 101 yards, his sixth 100-yard game of the season, moving him to second on TCU’s single-season receiving list.
Jeremy Payne powered the ground game with 174 rushing yards and 218 total yards — the most by a TCU running back in more than 20 years.

The Frogs controlled every phase — even through the weather — and continued building momentum toward the postseason.
