DALLAS, Texas –The Stars stayed red-hot Friday night, extending their win streak to five and their home dominance over the Flyers to nine straight games. Dallas has now earned points in 12 of its last 13 and piled up a franchise-record 14 unanswered goals.
Jason Robertson stole the show with a natural hat trick—his sixth career hatty—matching Neal Broten and Steve Payne on the franchise list. It also marked his 30th career multi-goal game and his third straight three-point night.
“I may be shooting the puck a little bit more and being a little more assertive,” Robertson said. “When you get one or two, the confidence goes up… They’re going in now.”
Dallas’ special teams stayed perfect, going 10-for-10 on the PK over the last four games. Lian Bichsel scored his first of the season and delivered eight hits, joining an elite group of franchise players with three eight-hit games in a single season. Tyler Seguin added a goal and assist to pad his strong career numbers vs. Philly.
Robertson credited the fast start and full-line pressure: “We took control early… The big positive was the second period. We didn’t roll over. It was a good step in the right direction.”
The Stars look locked in—and Robertson is driving the surge.
