TCU Pulls Away from Lamar for 78-65 Win

FORT WORTH, Texas — A strong second half lifted TCU to a 78-65 win over Lamar, keeping the Horned Frogs perfect at home against the Cardinals (10-0).

Jayden Pierre led the way with 18 points in his 100th career game, while David Punch went a flawless 5-for-5 from the field for 12 points. Micah Robinson added 11 off the bench, and Jace Posey grabbed a career-high eight rebounds.

TCU shot 50.9% from the floor and won the rebounding battle 36-28—continuing Jamie Dixon’s dominance when his team controls both stats (113-3 in such games).
