DENVER — The Cowboys couldn’t carry their momentum from last week’s win, falling 44-24 to the Broncos on Sunday. Dallas dropped to 3-4-1 and hasn’t beaten Denver since 1995.
Javonte Williams scored twice in his return to Denver, but the Broncos’ rookies stole the show. R.J. Harvey found the end zone three times, Pat Bryant caught his first NFL touchdown, and Jahdae Barron intercepted Dak Prescott as Denver scored on seven of its next eight drives after an early pick.
The Cowboys pulled within 14-10 in the first half, but turnovers and defensive breakdowns buried their comeback hopes. Denver outgained Dallas on the ground 179–108 and extended its home winning streak to nine.
Dallas returns home to face Arizona on Monday, November 3.
