DALLAS, TEXAS — The Dallas Stars wasted no time setting the tone in their home opener, skating past the Minnesota Wild 5–2 in a commanding performance. From the opening puck drop, Dallas controlled the ice and showed why they’re one of the most complete teams in the league.
Wyatt Johnston buried a power-play goal to extend his season-opening goal streak to three games, continuing his hot start. Jake Oettinger was stellar between the pipes, stopping 39 shots to keep Minnesota in check.
Five different Stars found the back of the net, showcasing a balanced attack that overwhelmed the Wild. Backed by an electric home crowd, the Stars’ defense and goaltending locked in when it mattered most.
This wasn’t just a win — it was a statement.
