Dallas Cowboys Eye Fourth Straight Win Over Carolina Panthers

FRISCO, TEXAS — The Dallas Cowboys are on a roll, riding a three-game winning streak against the Carolina Panthers, and they’re aiming to extend that dominance this Sunday. With momentum on their side, the Cowboys look to continue asserting themselves as one of the NFL’s toughest matchups.

Key Storylines:

  • Staying Hot: Dallas has won its last three meetings with Carolina, including impressive performances on both sides of the ball. Can they keep the streak alive?
  • Players to Watch:
    • Dak Prescott: Needs 150 passing yards to surpass Troy Aikman (32,942) for the second-most passing yards in franchise history behind Tony Romo (34,183). Prescott also has 38 career games with at least three touchdown passes, moving past Brett Favre (37 games) for the sixth-most in a player’s first 10 seasons. Only Peyton Manning, Dan Marino, Patrick Mahomes, Aaron Rodgers, and Russell Wilson have more. With just 12 rushing yards on Sunday, he’ll reach 2,000 career rushing yards, becoming the 15th player in NFL history with 30,000 passing and 2,000 rushing yards.
    • Javonte Williams: Leads the Cowboys with nine runs of 10-plus yards in 2025, tied for eighth among NFL running backs. Among backs with at least 40 rush attempts this season, he ranks fourth in the NFL with 5.66 yards per carry.
    • Jake Ferguson: His 41 receptions are tied for the most by a Cowboys tight end through five games in the Super Bowl era. Ferguson has recorded at least five receptions in all five games, tying Jason Witten (2008) for the longest such streak to start a season by a Cowboys tight end. His three touchdown receptions in 2025 are tied for third among NFL tight ends.
    • Shemar James: The rookie linebacker recorded 17 tackles last week against the Jets, the most by a Dallas rookie since Leighton Vander Esch had 18 in 2018.
  • Keys to Victory: Maintaining ball control, executing in the red zone, and forcing turnovers will be crucial for Dallas to stay dominant.
