Stars Fall 4-1 to Avalanche in Denver

DENVER, COLORADO — The Dallas Stars couldn’t slow down Colorado’s attack, dropping a 4-1 decision Friday night at Ball Arena.

The Avalanche set the tone early, taking control in the first period and never looking back. Dallas managed a lone goal in the second but couldn’t generate consistent offense.

With the regular season approaching, the Stars will aim to regroup and sharpen things up in their next preseason matchup.
