George Pickens Ready to Ignite Cowboys’ Offense

FRISCO, TEXAS — It’s clear that Cowboys WR George Pickens is thriving with the variety of routes he’s running this season. “For me personally, it’s just like, pick your poison. Because I can run a slant and get a first down. I can go-ball and get a first down, touchdown. I can run an in-route,” Pickens said.

Pickens has been targeted 13 times this season, hauling in eight receptions for 98 yards and one touchdown. All-Pro CeeDee Lamb has also been dominant, with 16 catches for 222 yards so far in 2025.

The Cowboys added Pickens after the 2025 NFL Draft, pairing him with Lamb to form one of the league’s most explosive receiving duos. Since 2022, the pair has combined for 7,463 receiving yards, the second-most by any NFL duo over the past three seasons.

Now in his fourth year, Pickens has carved out a reputation as a premier deep threat. He’s the only player drafted in 2022 with 150 receptions and an average of 16+ yards per catch. Over the past year, he’s hauled in 15 passes traveling 20+ air yards, tied for second in the NFL behind D.K. Metcalf, according to PFF.

With Pickens and Lamb leading the way, Dallas’ offense is set to be one of the most dangerous in 2025 as they head into Sunday’s matchup against the Chicago Bears.
