MINNEAPOLIS (Sept. 1, 2025) — Paige Bueckers climbed to No. 6 on the WNBA’s all-time rookie scoring list with 17 points, but it wasn’t enough to slow the red-hot Lynx. Dallas dropped a 96-71 decision to Minnesota at Target Center.

The Lynx shot 55% from the floor and 58% from three, led by Napheesa Collier (25 points) and Natisha Hiedeman (25 points, 10 assists). Dallas had four players in double figures, including Maddy Siegrist, Amy Okonkwo, and Diamond Miller with 12 each.

Despite strong efforts inside — winning the paint battle 38-36 and second-chance points 12-5 — the Wings couldn’t match Minnesota’s shooting. The Lynx drained 14 threes and pulled away in the second half.

Dallas (9-32) now heads West for its final road trip, starting with the Golden State Valkyries on Sept. 4.

Leaders:
Points – Bueckers (17) | Collier (25)
Rebounds – Hines-Allen (8) | Shepard (8)
Assists – Berger (4) | Hiedeman (10)
