ATLANTA — The Dallas Wings hung tough for three quarters but couldn’t keep pace in the fourth, falling 100-78 to the playoff-bound Atlanta Dream Friday night at Gateway Center.

Maddy Siegrist posted a career-high 23 points on 10-of-17 shooting, while Paige Bueckers added 16 points and matched her career-best with 10 assists—marking her second points-assists double-double of the season. Dallas, down to just eight available players due to injuries and hardship deals, dropped to 9-31 on the year.

The Wings led 21-19 after one and cut the deficit to four heading into the fourth, but Atlanta closed the game on a 29-11 run. Rhyne Howard led the Dream with 24 points, and Allisha Gray chipped in 19 as Atlanta (25-14) clinched a playoff spot.

Dallas heads to Minnesota next to face the Lynx Monday at 7 p.m. CT on NBA TV and KFAA29.
