ARLINGTON, TX — The Rangers will be without Nathan Eovaldi for at least two weeks. The 35-year-old righty, dominating in 2025 with an 11-3 record and 1.73 ERA—the lowest ever through 22 starts in franchise history—was placed on the 15-day Injured List retroactive to Aug. 24 after experiencing shoulder soreness against Cleveland.
To fill the void, Caleb Boushley returns from Triple-A Round Rock for his sixth stint of the season. Boushley has been stellar in the minors this year (1.08 ERA in 8 outings) and is looking to make an impact in Texas once again.
The Rangers remain at the 40-man roster limit, with Eovaldi’s absence highlighting just how vital he’s been to their rotation.
