ARLINGTON, TEXAS – The Dallas Wings couldn’t shake a cold start and fell to the Washington Mystics, 91-78, on Saturday night at College Park Center.

Washington’s quick ball movement and hot perimeter shooting put Dallas in an early hole, forcing the Wings to play catch-up for most of the night. Despite a spirited second-half push, Dallas couldn’t slow the Mystics’ balanced scoring attack.

Paige Bueckers led the way for Dallas with 17 points, showing flashes of her smooth midrange game and ability to create off the dribble. For Washington, Kiki Iriafen was dominant in the paint, recording a double-double with 23 points and 10 rebounds, setting the tone on both ends of the floor.

The Wings found pockets of momentum — sparked by aggressive drives to the basket and a few timely defensive stops — but Washington’s ability to answer each run kept the home crowd from ever fully taking over.

The loss drops Dallas further behind in the playoff chase, adding urgency to the final stretch of the regular season. The Wings will have a quick turnaround as they prepare to regroup for their next matchup.
