Stars Sign Physical Forward Nathan Bastian for 2025-26 Season

FRISCO, TEXAS — The Dallas Stars have signed forward Nathan Bastian to a one-year, one-way deal worth $775,000 for the 2025-26 season, GM Jim Nill announced.

Bastian, 27, brings size and grit, standing 6-foot-4 and weighing 205 pounds. Last season with the New Jersey Devils, he scored 10 points in 59 games and showcased his versatility by netting his first career shorthanded, power-play, and game-winning goals.

Known for his physical play, Bastian led the Devils in hits since 2018-19 with 734 and ranks fourth among the 2016 draft class in career hits. Drafted 41st overall by New Jersey in 2016, he’s ready to add depth and toughness to Dallas’ lineup.
