LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA — The Dallas Cowboys kick off their 2025 preseason tonight against the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium. Dallas hasn’t opened the preseason with a win since 2017 and holds a 139-155-2 all-time preseason record, including 1-1 at SoFi.

The Rams lead the preseason series 17-12, including last year’s 13-12 win in L.A., while Dallas holds a narrow 20-18 edge in the regular season. The last regular season meeting saw the Cowboys dominate 43-20 at AT&T Stadium in 2023.

This game marks Brian Schottenheimer’s debut as head coach after three seasons on staff, including the last two as offensive coordinator. With 25 years of NFL experience, he’ll look to start his tenure with a statement win.
