FRISCO, TEXAS — FC Dallas has officially transferred defender Marco Farfan to Tigres UANL of Liga MX, marking the end of his three-and-a-half-year stint in North Texas. He becomes the second FC Dallas player to join the Mexican side this season, following Homegrown goalkeeper Antonio Carrera.
Farfan made 121 appearances for Dallas, contributing three goals and eight assists. He reached a major milestone in June with his 100th MLS appearance for the club.
“Dallas will always have a special place in my heart,” Farfan said in a farewell message to fans.
The 26-year-old previously played for LAFC and began his career as Portland’s first-ever Homegrown signee in 2016. He also earned a senior U.S. Men’s National Team cap in 2020.
