OXNARD, CA — The Dallas Cowboys’ Wednesday training camp practice didn’t end with a whistle—it ended with wind sprints.
Head Coach Brian Schottenheimer abruptly shut down practice after tensions boiled over. One early ejection and several on-field skirmishes disrupted the session, prompting Schottenheimer to send a clear message: discipline comes first.
Players were made to run a series of sprints to close out the day—an old-school move by the new head coach that showed he’s not here for nonsense.
Schottenheimer means business as he looks to build a focused, tough-minded roster heading into the 2025 season.
