ARLINGTON, TEXAS — Dallas Wings rookie Paige Bueckers has been named a starter for the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game, becoming the only first-year player to earn the honor this season.
Bueckers is just the 10th rookie in league history to start an All-Star Game, joining names like Maya Moore, Sue Bird, and Caitlin Clark. Her selection follows a breakout start to her pro career—leading all rookies in points (18.4), assists (5.8), and steals (1.85), while ranking top five in rebounds and blocks.
The 6-foot guard has shined brightest in big moments, including a 35-point performance in Phoenix on June 11—the second-highest single-game scoring total in the WNBA this season. She also leads all rookies in double-doubles.
The 2025 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game takes place July 19 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis and will air at 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC, ESPN+, and Disney+. Reserve players, selected by WNBA coaches, will be announced July 6. A roster draft by the top two vote-getters will follow on July 8.
Bueckers’ All-Star nod is another major milestone in a rookie campaign that’s already making history.
