ARLINGTON, Texas — Arlington Renegades tight end Sal Cannella has signed with the Cleveland Browns, the UFL announced Thursday.
Cannella led Arlington in 2025 with 44 catches for 474 yards and a touchdown, earning All-UFL honors. He ranked second in the league in receptions and led all tight ends in receiving yards.
The former Auburn standout has previously spent time with multiple NFL teams, including training camp stints with the Dolphins, Packers, Seahawks, and Buccaneers.
Cannella helped the Renegades win the 2023 XFL title and remains one of the UFL’s top tight ends. Arlington retains his league rights should he return.
